Standards of Dress

Applicable to the clubhouse and the golf course.

Members, Visitors and Guests are expected to dress to an acceptable standard at all times.

The following are not acceptable.

1. Work Clothes such as overalls and industrial boots.
2. Torn or patched Jeans
3. Tee shirts, Football Shirts ot Vests.
4. Track or Shell Suites.
5. Swimming Trunks/Shorts
6. Shorts unless conforming to the Golf Clubs Standard. (see specification below)
7. Headwear of any description is not permitted to be worn within the clubhouse.

Wearing of tailored shorts on the course or in the clubhouse.

The wearing of shorts on the course has been an option for a number of years and wearing them in the clubhouse was approved at the AGM in 2006 provided they conform to the following standards.

They must be tailored shorts and

1. Cannot be worn beneath the Knee,
2. They must have a buttoned or zipped fly.
3. They must have side pockets.
4. They must have loops for a belt. (wearing a belt is optional)
5. No stripes down the outside of the legs.

Anyone not conforming to the above will be asked to leave either the premises or the course.

Shirts cannot be worn outside the players shorts/trousers.
